Cannot use becasue of loud popping noise
Anonymous 01.08.2016
The product is unusable as it has a very tangible ?pop? sound when pressed. In a normal PA system, the pop is perceivable over the entire set of instruments in a full live session. This is unacceptable as I bought it for the talk-back function with the sound engineer and with my band. When I press it, people on the dance floor turn their heads to the speakers as they hear the obvious ?pop? sound.
Update - The product works fine if used only with a direclty plugded in mic. However if you plan to use it for any kind of efect pedal, it wont work

Nice momentary A/B mic switcher
Brian1917 26.05.2014
My normal live mic signal path is through a vocal doubler then into the desk, but sometimes I want a shortish burst of vocoder sound, so I "stamp" on the pedal, routing my mic to the audio input of a synth, do my vocoder part, let go of the pedal and I'm back to normal. There's no nasty switching noise and is well built so is great for live usage.

A must have

We use this to operate a talk-back feature on our stage. It has made conversing with the guys on the PA desk and others in the band so much easier.
We use it in a church setting, and its great for when the band add an extra song, or even if a message needs to be passed on subtly to other band members.

I have never experienced any issues with popping or the pedal sticking. Brilliant piece of kit and highly recommend for anyone wanting a talk-back.

C
Solid build
Christopher1875 27.01.2016
Nicely constructed and with a reassuring weight. XLR sockets are good quality as is chasis. Somewhat limited as regards features given it's modest remit and it seems a shame there is no function for latching the switch in an on and/or off position which would greatly increase the potential uses and versatility of the device. Switch was also slightly spongy and in heavy shoes there is a chance that it would be hard to be sure you were pressing it all the way down thus potentially reducing its efficacy in live situations. Overall, provided this is all you are looking for, it does a job.
