It works, but needs to be smoothed first
Alex<randomInteger> 09.01.2022
First impressions:
- It's thin. On the product photos it looks much thicker, maybe 1.5mm. In fact, it's 0.6 mm thick, just a little bit more than Rock'n'Ruler.
- The edges are not smooth. I had to file them carefully before I dared to put it on the frets of my guitar.

Usage:
After polishing it a bit, I used it on my bass to locate popped frets and fix them. It worked well, did what it should. So the thickness wasn't an issue after all, but I expected to see and feel a different tool.

Conclusions:
It's a useful tool to check your frets quickly, it does the job. But I feel it doesn't stand up to the proud names of Warwick and Framus engraved on it.

medioker

In my opinion, neither a tape measure nor a rocker :) rocker would have to be thicker, at least these 2-3mm. while measuring tape for spacers nice how they have painted rectangles with standard heights, then it is easier to quickly distinguish at what height is the string than counting dashes

Edges aren't straigt
Wocky 24.03.2019
Worthless peace of metal.
It is pressed out a bigger sheet of metal, and therefore the edges arent 100% straight but curved.
Don't buy this... unless you have tools to make it straight again...
I tried sanding it straigt on a machined flat surface.. but because it is a manual operation... and a small peace of metal.. you cant get it done... you must machine this perfectly straight...
Now I used blade from a toolnife.. I think they are lasercut.. and thus pretty straight...

JV
A handy tool to have if you're buying used or online (or doing home setups)
Jernej V. 06.02.2021
Going by ear isn't always the best bet to find flaws in fret work, This is where the fret rocker comes in. The product is well designed, does exactly what it says it does and works on bass and guitar. With the help of this tool you can remove the guesswork when doing setup at home. The measuring scales come in especially handy.

CON: None
PRO: It does what it says it does. And it does it well.

I highly recommend the product to all guitar owners.
