Excellent shotgun mic

I couldn't be happier with it. It's really light, small and it sounds big. It sounds like a more refine version MKH416. Small footprint was a key factor for me - I needed something small to go with my more portable M/S setup - and it did work out nicely. It's quite crisp in the higher mids (kinda like MKH416 but less harsh) which I can imagine is a big PLUS if you're doing ADR/VO gigs. I use it primarily for field recordings. Sounds nice in a M/S setup and it does sound really good on it's own. It captures a lot of details. I think it's a bit hotter than 416 so you might to dial down your gain a wee bit. 5/5

Very high quality mic, high details in recording, very low hiss sound, comfortable dimensions as well to mount on every camera.

Super gevoelige mic

Ik heb deze microfoon nu een jaar ongeveer.
Ik gebruik de mic samen met een figure 8 microfoon als m/s opstelling in een blimp voor field recording. Hij is licht met een enorm sterke bouw en klink fantastisch.

Ik heb lang getwijfeld voor ik deze mic eindelijk heb gekocht, het is toch een behoorlijke prijs voor een microfoon. Ik heb er geen seconde spijt van gehad.

Ten opzichte van andere microfoons geeft deze mic zoveel meer geluid/volume waardoor ik de preamps van mijn recorder veel minder hoog hoef te zetten en dus minder kans heb op ruis. De microfoon geeft een volle weergave van de bron die je opneemt zonder te kleuren.
