Supreme Quality for the money
fjomatias 08.02.2018
So I wanted to renew the visual of my Harley Bentons ST62 in vintage white. It came with a tortoise pickguard but I wanted a light colored pickguard so I went with parchment since white was just too bright and it didn't fit the vintage style of the instrument at all. The color is just your common parchment that you would find to be sold by fender or other top branded companies. The quality is very good but let's be real here, it's just a pickguard so why would you pay 40 euros for a legitimate fender piece? This one cost me 10 euros and it looks AMAZING! It is shielded properly also! Anyway, it is made to fit fenders and squiers so I had to make A LOT of modifications. the bridge side had to be trimmed down with a file and sandpaper in order to fit the HB st62 along with the neck pocket side which also had to be modified with a file and sandpaper. Only one hole matched in the body so I basically had to re-drill the other 10 holes in the guitar body. The pot holes were good but the HB ST62 pots have a metal piece that goes through the pickguard so additional 3 mm holes had to be drilled for each potentiometer. I found out the hard way but if you are planning to replace the pickguard on a harley benton strat be ready to make quite a few modifications. But overall the guitar looks stunning because everything was done carefully and with patience.

You will not find this level of quality and costumer care in any other supplier! Very pleased with the result and will definitely purchase again from Thomann!

Fits Crafted in Indonesia Squier mostly ok
Leonidas from XIV 27.04.2023
Replaced the original pickguard of an 2006 Squier Standard series. Holes lined up mostly, except for slight deviations on a few screws - still managed to screw it in without re-drilling holes.

It looks very good, the only thing missing compared to the original is that while the outer screws have sink-holes, the ones for the pickups/switch don't, so you either have to do a bit of drilling or accept that the screw heads are sticking out on top of the pickguard.

Insulation is provided around the pots and the switch, not around the whole backside but this is identical to the original pickguard as well as more expensive ones like from Göldo. I used some copper tape just in case.

Color-wise it is an creamy white with a very slight green tint. Definitely not vintage mint (unfortunately can't upload a comparison photo) but quite subtle and in my opinion it looks pretty good. My pickup covers have yellowed over years and while it doesn't quite match that color, the combination still looks good.

Worth the price? For sure. If it had pre-drilled sink-holes I'd even rate it higher than the Göldo pickguards at more than double the price as they have the exact same issue.

nice replacement pickguard
Nes2 29.02.2020
Nice replacement pickguard ,3ply -just make sure the neck pickup is 52mm spacing -like USA/Mexican Strat - if you have thinner neck pickup -like on older Bullets/Affinities -check your guitar before you buy. This is not a defect- just a part of the fun when you change parts on an electric guitar.Thecolour is very nice- looks more like mint green than parchment- but way cooler than plain white.
