I purchased the tortoise shell pickguard prewired with CS 69 pickups to replace the stock pickups in my 2019 Fender american strat. This is exactly the sound I was looking for from my strat.
The quality of the components and workmanship is top notch, pots feel tight and solid, and the soldering is job is neat and properly done. If have some basic experience soldering, there's no need to have a technician do the job for you, you can easily drop the pickguard in your guitar in a few hours in an afternoon over a beer or two.

Great choise for my Black Strat project
Tamas the Tamas 05.03.2023
I bought this set because wanted to build a Black Strat (ala Gilmour) and after reading various advices the CV69 pickups looked the best choice (replacing the bridge PU with a Seymour Duncan, to have the closest sound).
Well, it was great choice and I love the sound of the PUs and the percectly soldered electronics of this set.
The pickguard was replaced with a black one (and the turtoise is used on another project) but all other parts are being used in the Black Strat.
Actually it is almost cheaper to buy the full pickguard version than the CV69 PU set only if one has to add the potis, capacitor and the switch to the whole story. Of course, the pickguard is an extra "waste" of money if one cannot use it.
Anyhow, the whole set is great and does worth the money. Recommended!

The Notorious JIMMY from trim 12.04.2023
Makes my Mexican strat go toe to toe with anyone else's guitar . it sounds amazing with my supro delta king 10 tube amp . I also made a few mods to it . I replaced the switch with a 10 way blade switch which opened up some great tonal options .
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Geiler Sound, einfache Installation!
musician.engineer 27.10.2020
