Significant improvement over the classic Shastock Solotone damper in terms of design and resonance
Very popular with trumpet players who do a lot of work in the Broadway pit orchestras and West End show productions
The resonance is optimized by maintaining the same material throughout the design process
In contrast to the original Solotone, the new ShowTone does not contain brass sleeves at each end, this contributes to its resonance and increases the range of overtones
The intonation, slotting and tonal qualities of the ShowTone far exceed the original version of the 1920s.
